The District has updated their fleet recently. We have acquired not only the Chief's and Maintenance Vehicles, but a 1986 and 1983 Pierce Fire Engines from Clackamas County Fire District in the Portland area as a donation to replace the 1970 Ford Fire Engine. We have also acquired 2 Flatbed Diesel Trucks from the Firefighter Property Program (FFP) administered by the USFS. We will be remounting the tanks and pumps from our two 1976 International Flatbeds. (The Twins) which we have sold. In 2018 we purchased a Structure Engine from Clackamas County Fire District to update our fleet of trucks.
The District has also purchased the building and property from Mr. Darrel Moon at 102 Columbia St. Helix. This building will serve as the main office, training room and vehicle maintenance shop for the District.
In 2018-2019 we have been blessed by donations of many water tanks around the area for fast fill of the trucks with water. Thank you for blessing our department with your donations of these much needed water tanks.
